Becca & August, A Lovers’ Portrait Session at Baker Beach, San Francisco, CA

Ever since I first traveled to San Francisco and saw the Golden Gate Bridge years ago, I wanted to do a couple’s photo session in this place.

Last year, I was able to fulfill this dream and had the chance to photograph Becca and August, a beautiful Californian couple who would get married shortly after.

We spent an entire fall afternoon walking on Baker Beach, a location chosen by them that I loved because the scenery was incredible, starting with the wooded views, the fog covering the entire horizon, the cold beach that you could feel, the seagulls fluttering above us, and little by little, despite the thick fog, the tip of the Golden Gate Bridge showed itself to us being part of the session, it was awesome.

For a brief moment, the sun came out and we also had a beautiful golden light at sunset, it was perfect. These two had a very cool attitude the whole time we were taking photos, but the most important thing is how much fun they had, and I really think the photos reflect that.

We were on the beach until the last minute of daylight and like them, I enjoyed this time like never before. These photos are really some of my favorites, a session full of candid moments, a romantic fog and a Moody aesthetic that we were looking for and that is iconic of this place.

San Francisco, I can’t wait to see you back again…
