As you probably already saw in my last blog post, meeting these two was something very special.
Three days of a California destination wedding in the beautiful Sonoma County, where the scenery takes your breath away, the weather is perfect, the food is delicious, and the wine flows freely.
This Californian couple has a special place in my heart, and working with them has been one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in recent years.
They gave a lot of importance to the time we had to create together, to all our prior planning, and they valued every minute we spent together. They were incredibly friendly, we had a lot of fun on each day and it never felt like work. I was welcomed from the first moment and treated as a special guest at their table.
The wedding weekend started with their pre-wedding session at the Redwoods National Park which needed its own space so, (if you haven’t seen it yet, click on this link).
On the second day, Trish and Eric hosted a warm, autumn welcome dinner with a Filipino style mix, starting at sunset and on a beautiful family property surrounded by vineyards, typical of this Californian area. Surrounded by pumpkins, seasonal flowers, and vineyards, we had the opportunity to do a second mini-session in the golden California light.
Thanks to the planning and all the previous communication we had, we were able to have all the time at our hands, which allowed us to document many moments throughout the days and Trish and Eric had a cool, stress-free photo experience.
The wedding day was extraordinary.
A first look at a beautiful and picturesque hotel, and they welcomed their little dog, who was a fancy star of the day. After some portraits, we walked to Barndiva, a renowned restaurant in Healdsburg where the ceremony and reception took place and a very special place for them where they dreamed of having a memorable day for all their guests.
The ceremony was really beautiful, at sunset and surrounded by greenery. The reception, also outdoors, had a very modern and rustic atmosphere, where everyone had a great time.
One of their focuses was for their family and friends to have the best wedding day experience, as well as themselves (including me). We all enjoyed fantastic food! and the wedding had it all, in a relaxed and very intentional way. It was full of emotions, live music and the best vibe that Trish and Eric shared with everybody.
I am incredibly grateful to have shared all these memories with them and to have been a part of their story. These two have been one of the most loving couples I have ever photographed.
