After exploring a lot of Edinburgh and more of Scotland, I decided to take it a step further: driving on the opposite side of the road and heading off on an adventure to the Isle of Skye.
At first, I couldn’t help feeling a bit nervous, but the road was so generous with us, so full of beauty, that any uneasiness quickly faded away. From the moment we hit the road, we were immersed in an endless parade of breathtaking landscapes and the autumn colors… they made everything even more magical.
I’ve been lucky enough to witness many beautiful landscapes in my life, but this time, everything felt like the very first time, a constant sense of wonder. Every corner of Scotland captivated me, but there’s one place that stayed with me above all: the Isle of Skye. The beauty of this place left me speechless.
After a long, beautiful day full of stunning places that you can see in the part 1 of this trip, we finally arrived in Portree, our starting point to explore the island, not knowing that days full of awe-inspiring scenery and unforgettable moments were waiting for us.
Isle of Sky, you truly stole my heart, and I can’t wait to go back.
